Child & Youth Mental Health Clinician – North West Queensland

Location: Based in NORTH WEST QUEENSALND

Type: Locum Short term Contract | Monday–Friday (no weekends)

About the Role

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families? We are seeking a dedicated Child & Youth Mental Health Clinician to deliver early intervention, therapeutic care, and community engagement initiatives across North West Queensland.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct specialist clinical assessment, treatment, and case management for children and young people.
• Support prevention, promotion, and early intervention programs for youth at risk of mental health concerns.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve services and outcomes for the community.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant qualifications in Social Work or Psychology.
• Experience in child and youth mental health desirable.
• Experience with Queensland Health ideal.
• Eligible for AHPRA or AASW registration.
• C-class driver’s license.
